From Sergio Calligaris to all the creative people
My music, which has been performed many times in countries different for tradition and
culture, was always welcome with open arms by the public and it arouse an intense
participation of the interpreters.
I believe the success of this music is due to its being sincere, this means being without
age and without a limit in style.
I always thought that the most important target for a composer of classical contemporary
music is to reach the wider public tha is possible.
And the best way to do this is the world of mass-media like tv and cinema.
That's the reason why I decided to realise this CD, expressly for you advertising
creatives, choosing through my symphonic operas some of the most significant moments for
synchronisations in advertising campaigns.
It was an interesting and creative job for me and so I deemed to edit this CD with musical
fragments in shape of jingle 15", 30", 45" e 60" long.
Selections n.78 and n.79, respectively 7 and 16 minutes long, expressly close this CD to
give you the opportunity to listen to two entire operas of mine, with a rich
orchestration, to leave to your creativity the task of choosing particular musical
fragments, different from the ones I could have chosen.
This proposal is worth also for film directors to make them discover an author who is
inclined to compose soundtracks for their future movies.
I hope you can devote a small part of your precious time to the listening of this CD and,
thanks to your choice of one of my jingles for future advertising campaigns and film
soundtracks, I hope we all could hear sincere melodies composed by an author of classical
contemporary music, without using the operas of composers of the past.
